The Dangers of AI

Tech companies are using the general population as guinea pigs without asking for consent, and without properly informing us. At the moment, ethics is something of an afterthought; we are thinking about how to repair damaged lives rather than how to avoid damage. One example that illustrates the danger of AI is the one from the Michigan Unemployment Agency which falsely accused more than 34,000 people of committing fraud.
