The History of the Netherlands

The dutch government, torism, industry and businesses have all agreed to stop using the name holland. The republic of macedonia changed their name to the republic of north macedonia to settle a dispute with greece. And in 20 13, the west african island country, cape verde, became known as cabo da. Until 20 16, the check republic had no short name. I think the chek republic was one of the only countries in the world to use the long official name regularly.
