I think that part of what I've been seeing is a lot of us in this space insisting, right? We are the keepers of culture. My culture is incredibly expansive and has lots and lots of intersections with other things. It's like a badass woman, like a tough and hardworking person who is confident. That's sort of like how I translate that term. If you could wave a magic wand or a magic whisk or whatever it is that chefs use, what would you change if it was in your power about how books by people who look like me are produced?"
