The Problem With the Education System
I had dyslexia and ADHD both of which were not, I recognised so I was just put in the box of just not very good at school. It took me until my 30s to realise I wasn't the problem, the system was. Why do we celebrate people that can sit there and concentrate with somebody talking at them for an hour and regurgitate that an exam? That is celebrated but somebody who has common sense in the ability to critically think and ask questions is suppressed and told that they're a problem. When people say the education system is broken I have to tell them it's not broken, it's working exactly how it was designed. It's a people factory isn't
