The Economic Context of Historical Jesus

There isn't time here to examine the economic context of historical Jesus. It gets stuck into so I'll try not to step on his toes too much on that one but there. Crosson's Jesus is kind of a modern liberal figure in fairly obvious ways. So it would be sort of liberal bourgeois example of it. He transcends Judaism, he intensifies Judaism. The other thing is it's not just a great man, it'snot just a uniqueness, it's a sort of qualified uniqueness that comes through now. Past 30, 40 years I've seen scholarship much more aware of the history of anti-Semitism and anti-Judaism in scholarship.
