The Death Feast at a Symposia
The idea is they couldn't properly, you know, the women folk, i guess, could not properly. And so they were just disinvited from the whole affair. A, often after a symposium, someone dies right afterward. So it's a contrast thing you've got joy eating, life and community followed by death. At catacombs and tombs, you would have a death feast. There'ud be a painting of the dead person there enjoying their banquet. This is supposed to make you meditate on the joy yhey're experiencing in h after life.
