With a mutual fund held the traditional way, you have a paper asset that you have no control. With real estate, i can take a paper loss, which no money came in my in fact, money actually came into my pocket, and they give me a tax break upon it also. If i make too much money in one corporation, i just don't pay the taxes the way the inan employee, the government takes it before you get it. That's how i get rich quicker.
