God Is Sovereign, but He Achieves It Through the Choices of the People That He Is Soverent Over
God is sovereign, but in case you hadn't realized it, you're not a robot. A belief in the sovereignty of god never makes wrong right. The bible very plainly and repeatedly declares that you live in a dramatically broken world. And all of us, somehow, someway, will be touched by its brokenness. There's a day when this shalom that god created, where everything is working as is intended, will be restored. But now it's like a crystal glass that's been thrown down and broken. Shalom is broken.
