The Perfect Princess or the Perfect Royal?
The day after the announcement and Mary's presentation to Danish society, the front pages of the major newspapers seem to totally embrace her. I asked about whether she felt pressure to be the perfect princess or the perfect royal. She said: "It's a very subjective thing first and foremost but all I can say is that I will fulfill the role in a way that is particular to me" One paper gave her 10 out of 10 for a Danish skills. In Australia the media constantly described Mary's journey as something out of a fairy tale of course.
