The Evolution of Reserve Seating
The band had grown up with this sort of festival seating the day on the green experience, et cetera. And it seemed a little less rock and roll to do reserve seating. Our idea was what was the best way to get an audience to come comfortably and pay for a show that was as expensive as it was. Steel Wheels was a quantum leap beyond anything any band had ever done. The Stones outperformed themselves even after that... they just wouldn't stand still.
