Bickley's Status in the Knights of Columbus
Bickley was charged with financial irregularities and stealing membership dues. Some of the KGC members from Louisiana and Alabama even declared Bickley to be expelled from the organization. But others supported him and he called a special meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina which ended up clarifying his status with respect to the group. The convention decentralized the KGC organization, vesting prime authority in each of theKGC's state regimental commanders.
