How to Document and Analyze Labor Market Differences by Race and Gender
In a free labor market model, you'd have one. market and your everybody in line but the line into that market is only women. Mm hmm. Only black women or only black men. And I mean, you could see real clearly where in this one market, people are still flowing into these segregated slots. You were watching not just differences in wages, but sorting. Oh, totally sorting. So what was sort of your key? What were some of your theoretical reasons for why you thought this was not why this gap was stand as an equilibrium? Well, because what he did was set up two models. He used data from the Department of Labor to do it.
