Are You Afraid to Compete?

In the spring of 99, i was as first lady in new york city at a high school to promote women's sports. A young woman who introduced me whispered in my ear, dare to compete, missus clinton. And it was literally at that moment that i took seriously a running a for the senate. I thought, you know, i'm just going to be walking into the meat grinder. You never know until you trya so that's what i ended up doing.
