The Role of Authority in Science

Many times people tend to base more their opinions or the knowledge they get on authority, fame, and what he calls accessibility of information. Do you think that's correct? What are your thoughts on that? Of course, that is true. And it's one of the kind of diseases of science. We should not respect authority for its own sake. In fact, studies have shown that the papers published in Nature and Science are less reliable than papers published in society journals.
