The Future of Package Managers

In the early days of the web literally indexes like Yahoo just have a directory of all the different websites categorized. I think we have more sophisticated where there was a centralized list or index of all the pages in that web ring so you could hit random unlike a little thing get the random one. We've got individual tool package pages for the stuff in our ecosystem and what if we let people build web rings for that? It's pretty cool.
