When all of the housewives shows started them going to their respective dermatologist or plastic surgeons was like a real plot point on the show and they would go and try out all these different devices. I think there was this really I guess outdated idea that if you did it you hated yourself or you you know there waslike a real like moral element to getting something to change the way that you look, says Ramona Singer. "I feel like as the show sort of started talking about it like dismantled it a little bit," she adds.
