The Importance of Persistence in the Browser
Alice: I was just thinking about how it'd be a cool thing to build of a tool that's like literally the cut cult scratchpad or whatever. If you could do this like locally in your IDE would you do that instead? Andy: Yeah as long as it had some kind of even if somewhat limited persistence right because there is no mode of working like that. Alice: Is there anything about it being in the browser itself that is vital to the experience for people who don't know what they're doing? Andy: No, not really probably should go into some other editor or something but yes I absolutely would yeah.
