Is It Too Late to Talk About Your Raising?
If you've already been told by your manager that a promotion is on the way, it's probably too late to talk about the amount. Depends on your company, of course. And the aller your company is, the more flexibility they will have and the less advanced notice you're going to need to give. But if it's a smaller company, then you can influence them with emotion.
