Is This a Novel That's Not Historical Fiction?
It was really interesting to me how this novel seemed to inherently like embodyd like the literary relationship. It's channelling so many works that came before it and so many writers. And, and i think it being this little microcosm of history, right on the precipice of the cuban revolution and things like that, also makes it an interesting fulcrum point to think about when you're talking about historical fiction.
