I was working with a guy last year who very successful lawyer had built this massive law firm and, you know, it was pretty burnt out. And when he came to work with me, it became very apparent that nothing was ever enough in his life. So I told him: What if my homework for you was to carve out intentional time to go and do nothing? His exact response was, I'd fucking hate that verbatim. It's a scary, I'm going to say, especially for us men, but I just know my own experience growing up and how I snuffed emotion for so long.
