Many people in the church for better or worse are driven more by what is practical than what is biblical. So they might ask why should they bother with Israel even if they agree with its importance biblically when it doesn't seem to impinge on their daily life Why not just operate under the standard canonical narrative as our Campbell Solon would say Anyway since it's not entirely unbiblical and it seems to work Is there some persuasive counter argument that we can make for understanding Israel on pragmatic grounds without having to resort simply to asserting Well we should understand Israel properly because the Bible says so Guys what do you think?
