Every major pitched battle that he fought, he won. But there are these kind of little blemishes. There is this perception out there that wellington was a defensive general. Not true. If you start to tally up his offensive victories versus his defensive ones, the offensive ones actually outweigh the defensive. And folks who kind of feel that praising wellington somehow undermines napoleon, like to turn around and say, ah, yes, but look, you always say that wellington never lost a battle."
