"I just think it's important that if we're going to say how wonderful marriages are I at least want to share, like it doesn't mean it's easy," he says. "This is something we're bringing to broken people into a relationship and expecting them to share a house and a bed and children and life together." He adds: "No one can be prepared for something like that ... grace prepares you but all of your childhood expectations and learnings and traumas, they come out and it's tough".
