You are India's first central banker to have truly faced the Mandela and Trilema because you were part of opening up the economy. How did you face the Mandelian Trilema during your time as governor between 92 and 97, and how would you manage the same Trilema today? Post COVID in the face of high inflation in developed countries, given that India is so much more integrated to the global economy. The impossible trinity about which we talk had its impact, but in the early years of reform, none of the three polls were fixed actually.
