Jehoiadah's Seventh Year

In the seventh year, Jehoiadah, and his name is just thrown out here at first, we don't even know who he is if we're just like reading is for the first time. He's going to end up being the tutor of this young king as well. In verse six it says that some of them are going to guard, now the ESV has the palace. The Hebrew there is Habayit, which is house, and then it has masah. So literally the house of masah, which they translated here as palace. Masah is probably from a word that has to do with like destruction or tearing down.
