How to Deal With Rejection When Making a Pitch

If I'm at a point where I can't pay my mortgage, I'm dusting off the resume. If you're on the knife's edge like that, that isn't about dealing with rejection. That is a business that's on the edge of being unsuccessful. What I try to do is remind myself, I told them what I needed to do to do this job properly, and they didn't want it. And having that emotional distance, I find valuable.
