How to Change Public Opinion

The idea that we just wake up people and then like everybody's on our side and we win is a bad way to understand how politics works. The real goal in our current political structure is narrative change. When I try to bring a more kind of dissident right idea to a normal audience I always try to connect it to something they already value. It can allow them to hear things that otherwise they would immediately recoil from because it clashes with some other narrative they were already taught.
