What's the Main Utensil in Japanese Cuisine?

In Japan, the main utensil there has been chopsticks. If you look at a lot of Japanese cuisine, it's often presented in such a way that it would be easy to eat with chopsticks. So... Well, there's an argument to be made about causality of that, but this is not an episode about cooking or eating utensils, so I'll leave that alone.
