Was It Moral for the Jews to Establish the State?
On May 14, 1948, a group of Israeli Jewish politicians declare the establishment of the state of Israel. On that day, armies of seven Arab countries invade to support the local Palestinians. It tried to wipe out the Jewish population and try to wipe out any hope of a Jewish state in that area. So, was it moral for them to establish the state? Yes. They needed a way to defend themselves. And one way to defend ourselves is to say, okay, all the people persecuted right now, let's get together and defend ourselves together because we're being persecuted.
