Introduction

This chapter explores the experiences of couples in India during Valentine's Day and the efforts of journalist Sanjay Sajdev and his Love Commando's group to protect them from vigilante attacks by Hindu right-wing groups. Interviews with Sajdev's college friend and lawyer shed light on his activism and passion for helping others.
