Paul's Rhetorical Mode in the Old Testament Prophecy
Paul's occasional writing and the small character of his corpus, it's worth bearing in mind. We would have no reference to the Lord Zappa were it not for first Corinthians within the Pauline corpus. This feels like Paul writing as an Old Testament prophet. And that rhetorical mode is I think really unique for Paul. It says something about him that he can trot this sort of thing out and he does in the right context in the right way.
