The Correspondence Theory of Truth

The correspondence theory of truth says a statement is true if it represents the way things really are in the world. Richard rordy disagrees with this basic premise, saying language dates our relationship with reality and we can't access reality without its use. He also argues that certain languages favor certain habits of interpreting events which greatly determine the entire way we see reality.
