What's the Difference Between a College Course and a Career?

i think there was a time you could go to college and learn incredibly relevant scales that you could then use to land jobs. But now, every single day, industries evolve and college curriculums become more and more irrelevant. College professors, their great academics, the great researchers, but most of them haven't even spent time in industry,. or if they have, it's been so long ago that those skills aren't relevant.
