Behavior economics shows that people don't really behave exactly the way they would if they were perfectly rational. There are several best-selling books related to behavior economics, like Daniel Kahneman's Thinking Fast and Slow. So in the 20th century, we're having a big shift from something which we can call algorithmic to heuristic work. According to consulting firm McKinsey and Co, only 30% of US job growth in 2005 came from what’s called algorithms.
