The Japanese Occupation of the 1930s

The body of Park Changsu was found in the mountains near Yung-chung, South Korea. A customer had seen him being beaten by his employer and a fellow co-worker three days earlier. The Japanese military police may well have employed some very unsavory methods to obtain their confession. Ko Okdan admitted to murdering Park but later tried to recant his confession.
