Louisiana Creole Artists and Writers

Jonathan J. Maya, Radwa Farush or Fieral Passam and Adrienne Gailery Chapman are our guests on this week's Linguistic Society of America podcast. Jonathan is a Louisiana Creole artist who writes in Korea Vini, an endangered Creole language of Louisiana. Adrienne was raised in Chicago but has been reclaiming Curry Vini since 2013. They talk about their passion to help others reclaim their heritage language as well as how they're helping the diaspora speak it again.
