The Evolution of Landscape Manipulation

The beginnings of agricultural tributed to a geographical area called the fertile crescent. The term has been in main stream use for at least the last 100 years. It stretches south across the levantine coast of the mediterranean sea, through lebanon, jordan, israel and palestine. There were a number of altitudes which allowed a variety of vegetation to succeed in this area.
