The Messiah Reconfigures the Story of Israel

If you do away with the original context of the Old Testament text, then you have nothing left to read through a Christological lens, right? There's nothing left. So that's why I like... I love this subject because especially Paul, because what we see is he reads the Old Testament diologically. But he's also not reading the Old Testament as a blank slate. He literally believes Jesus is the Messiah. The faith language in Romans is reconfigured around Messiah. And last thing and second thing that Paul reconfigures is Torah and Torah keeping.
