The Meaning of Queer Baiting
The terms race ting and race baiter have been in use since at least the 19 twenties. The meaning of queer baiting has moved around a bit too over the past few decades. It was quite literal in the 19 fifties during the lavender scare. And so law enforcement would round up people and use queer baiting, is what theyd called it at that time.
