The One Drop Rule of Hypo Abundance

I didn't really question that on a biological level for most of my life. My father could kind of, probably, he probably could wrap his mind around my kids being black. But i don't think that as soon as anyone stepped outside f the house, that would be how the world would accept us or perceive us. I think there would be an enormous amount of push back were you to look like these children,. and to walk out into the world, kind of proclaiming the the sense of yourself  that i advocated in the new york times a year before my daughter was born.
