one pretty much universal thing about humans is we don't know how to do anything a little bit. So whatever we do, we do to an absurd degree, which means that we're changing environments very quickly to an absurd degree in all of these different dimensions. And that rapid change, you know, if it affects the ability of the organisms that live in an environment to survive, function and reproduce, that necessitates a pace of evolutionary change that can track the environment or, you know, you risk extinction.
