Is There a Human in the Loop?

When you have AI that's doing parts of a human's job, how do humans and machines work most effectively together? Is that something that you think about as well? I do, from a perspective of as employers automate things. You can't have a set it and forget it approach to HR technologies. A human has to still be in the loop because it still needs to check the decisions that the algorithms are making.
