The Motivation Behind Ultra Marathon Training
The end should be more or less a celebration of all that hard work you did to get to it. I don't care where they're strong, I only care about their weaknesses. The why then falls into place and it really gets the best out of the patient. For those that are naive to a high protein diet I'll start them at 30 grams three times a day. Anything over 40 begins to push insulin a little too much. Also pull them off of fruit and you know we use complex carbohydrates. If they feel they need it I'll use it pre or post workout.
