The Importance of Participation in Religious Community
Data shows participation in religious community generally correlates with better health outcomes, longer life and higher financial generosity. So can you have it both ways? Can you argue the church itself is just as lost as the culture, but being involved in the church creates healthier people and better lives and more well being? Yeah. I mean, I read it as saying that that used to be more true, like not just because the church is so much better, but because we used to live lives that were more rooted in a particular community.
