Why did C.S. Lewis think natural law could make us human again? Michael Ward and Matthew Barrett
Credo Podcast
The Credo Podcast - Theology Matters
Michael Ward is the author of many books on Lewis, such as Planet Narnia or his Cambridge companion to C.S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man. He warns us against what he calls the magician's bargain, which essentially is to give up our own soul in order to get power in return. In the end that power destroys us, it even dehumanizes us if we treat ourselves not as really those who have been made in the image of God, but as raw material.
