What Happens After the Special Grand Jury Wraps Up?
The decision on whether to pursue an indictment rests with d a willis. She can go against the recommendations of the special grand jury, but it certainly gives her political cover should she choose to agree with them. If they don't want to, if they don't believe there's enough to indict, that report eventually becomes public. So that's kind of something to keep under your hat. It doesn't immediately become public. And and based on everything they learned during this process, they could say, hey, we don't think there's enough for you to indite anyone. Or they could say,. hey, we we think you have enough to kind of go after certain people.
