Richard: One of the things that we have done too much in the past is to shelter and protect people with disabilities while we encourage those without disabilities to take risks. Richard: We need to, on the one hand, help people take risks to achieve, but on the other hand, understand that what people do achieve may not fit within our hierarchies of status and morality.
