i'm not at all sure that journalism is up to this moment. It reveals things, it reports on things, it can help us understand, but it's no longer all that trusted. A culture that communicates mostly through the written word will have a very different kind of politics than a culture that communicates only or mostly through t v. You know, t v is all about movement and action. And because it's image based, it's not really conducive to any kind of logical discourse. So you can think about it playright? Like, what's the purpose of every t v show? The purpose is to capture an audience and sell products to that audience through ads.
