Joy as Liberation in the Transgender Community

This chapter explores how joy serves as a form of acceptance and personal liberation within the transgender community, discussing experiences at a Christian school and the pushback faced during a campus-wide protest for LGBTQ+ policies. The speakers also highlight the importance of supporting and protecting queer youth, access to resources, inclusive laws, and the main social injustices faced by the LGBTQ community.
