I was really struck by an analogy that you wrote in the book about having your car get rear ended and the axle getting bent. And I think that's really a beautiful analogy for thinking about the past and why it does matter. A lot of people don't understand that their past experience is not just in the past, it tweaked the equipment. It could be what happened last year when you asked me to work on this project with this other person. We got to listen to that unless it's fixed.
